Diamonds in the Rough

Overnight Retreat for Women

We had a fabulous time in October with a group of women for our overnight retreat. We would love to host another. If you would be interested, please let us know! Our two buildings can accomodate a group under 12 for small group retreats, and we would love to help you put it together.

"Diamonds in the Rough" could also work for a larger ladies retreat, and we would be happy to share the material with any church interested.

Contact Judy or Amy for more information.

Dedication of the Emmanuel Cottage

Thank you to all the friends and supporters who came out to celebrate with us as we dedicated the Emmanuel Cottage! It was a joyful morning as we reflected on how God provided all that was necessary to bring His vision to fruition.

We anticipate welcoming our first guests later this summer or early fall. Just a few more items need to fall into place, then we'll open the doors to all who will come.

Cottage #1 Is Here!

Delivery of our first cottage took place on Monday, April 24th. The cottage was safely placed on its foundation and made ready for the next phase of preparations.

Delivery of the cottage was both exciting and nerve-wracking as the driver and crew had to navigate our unaccomodationg terrain, yet they skillfully managed to get it in place. Onlookers watched in nervous trepidation as tires were blown, yet our Lord protected all involved and no one was injured.

Much more work is needed before we will be ready for guests. Stay tuned for news and pictures as the work progresses.

Cottage #1 Is Ordered

We are thrilled to report that our first cottage is in the works! Watch here for updates on the cottage to be in place and ready to furnish in April 2017.

January 5, 2017 was a momentous day for us at Shepherd's Rest Ministry. We voted on a plan to purchase our first cottage. 2017 is our year to build! We are so excited!

Gospel Bracelet Ministry Partnership

Shepherd's Rest Ministry is partnering with Gospel Bracelet Ministry to spread the word about Gospel Bracelets. Why use a Gospel Bracelet as a witnessing tool?

1. It keeps you focused on the subject because you follow the colors of the bracelet.

2. It insures the availability of important Scriptures in an order that is easy for a seeker to follow.

3. It allows the seeker to review the message again and again. It serves as a beautiful reminder of your witness.

4. It provides a visual to underscore the message of salvation.
