Our purpose

We exist to provide a quiet place for those who are busy in Christian ministry to pause, rest, pray, read, and worship the Good Shepherd in order to be renewed to continue the good race.

Our Facilities

The Welcome Center

The Welcome Center can accomodate a small group for meetings or a family for overnight stays. It has a full kitchen and a bathroom with shower. With a bedroom downstairs and twin beds in the loft, it can sleep up to 7.

Serenity Corner

Our newest facility was designed specifically for prayer and study. It is furnished with a desk, comfy seating, and prayer tools to help you find soul rest as you seek God.

Emmanuel Cottage

Our two-bedroom cottage is just right for a couple or small family. It has a full kitchen and bathroom with both shower and relaxing tub.

Our Mission

The mission of Shepherd’s Rest Ministry is to provide a Christian atmosphere in which all believers can seek God’s will without distraction, find refreshment of spirit, and rest from the world.
In particular, Shepherd’s Rest seeks to restore the under-shepherd to ministry, refresh his or her soul and provide counsel and encouragement for long-term ministry and service to our Lord.
In all we do, we seek to bring glory to God and peace to His flock.
